TRK Studio

We handle a client’s image across media: websites and online stores, custom plugins, brands and coordinated identity, print, trade-fair stands, video, infographics and installations. When the tool the client’s trade needs cannot be bought, we write it.

Cristiano Mondini founded and leads the studio. The client talks to him, not to an account manager. Around that direction, over twenty years, our network of collaborators has formed: photographers, printers, exhibit builders and other crafts, called in by skill, project by project.

Origin

Cristiano Mondini started in 1996 as a graphic designer in a Franciacorta print shop, on wine labels and traditional print. In 1998 he published his first website. From 1998 to 2002 he built interfaces and data tools at Nokia. Until 2004 he kept writing software in software houses. In 1999 he chose Linux and free software, which he still uses.

We opened in March 2004 from those two paths: print graphics and writing software. Cristiano holds them together. The name TRK is the three-letter tag he used as a boy on Wonder Boy and Cabal high-score tables. It is not a slogan.

What we build

We write custom software to the dictation of people who do that job every day. Examples, without naming clients: booking, SMS and counter management for a restaurant; the same idea for a gym; a 3D configurator in three versions (offline at a trade fair, white-label for resellers, a site that puts the configured product in the cart).

We build real-time 3D configurators wired to the online store. The user rotates the model, changes materials and finishes, sees the result while editing, and sends the correct price to the cart. We have three in production, in three different sectors.

We keep brand, site, print, trade fair and video together. Direction is one; the hands are those of the network that job requires. We usually accept unusual requests.

Where we work

Our base is Erbusco, between Brescia and Bergamo, in Franciacorta. Most clients are in this area. We have also built sites and software for clients in Los Angeles, on the US market, in Switzerland and in Paris. We handle multilingual projects and awkward time zones.

Part of our work has no URL: infographics, touch screens, totems, trade-fair fit-outs, video, print. One technical example: a stand with no network and a totem that had to collect names, solved with a USB stick and a local backend. By the end of the day the names were available.

How we work

We write the code. We do not assemble bought themes. Plugins, when needed, are written by Cristiano Mondini. Photography, print, exhibit work and the rest come from our network. The value we state is long maintenance, not only the spring handover: relationships lasting many years, sites still running in 2026.

We do not copy other people’s work and we do not take shady jobs. Cristiano holds that online, the truth shows, even in a site or a single image.

One longevity example, without the client’s name: in 2008 three people asked us for a cheap site; they had just opened. In 2026 that same company has dozens of employees and almost a hundred contractors; the site is still ours. Another: digital presence for a nightclub from 2008 to 2024, sixteen years, until it closed.
